Biography

Dr. Faryal Habib brings a thoughtful and integrative perspective to her work at ZehnSaaz, shaped by her training as a medical doctor and her deep interest in the relationship between emotional and physical health. She is particularly drawn to understanding how unprocessed emotions can manifest within the body, and how care that honours both mind and body can support meaningful healing.

With clinical experience across hospital, community, and educational settings in Pakistan and the United Kingdom, Faryal has worked closely with individuals at different stages of health, illness, and vulnerability. These experiences have strengthened her belief that wellbeing cannot be approached through symptoms alone, but must consider emotional life, lived experience, and context. She approaches her work with empathy, presence, and a strong commitment to creating spaces where people feel safe to be heard without judgement.

At ZehnSaaz, Faryal supports the development of medical and mental health content with clarity, care, and cultural sensitivity. Her role bridges clinical understanding with accessible communication, ensuring that complex health concepts are conveyed in ways that feel supportive rather than overwhelming. Her work reflects ZehnSaaz’s commitment to integrity, thoughtfulness, and human-centred care.

What inspired me to do this work
I have always been drawn to the connection between the mind and body, particularly how unprocessed emotions can manifest physically and show up as symptoms in the body. I’m an empath by nature which naturally led me toward this field, allowing me to hold space for others in a meaningful way.
How I stay inspired and curious
My greatest source of inspiration is nature. Spending time outdoors helps me reconnect with myself, regulate my nervous system, and gain perspective. It reminds me of the importance of slowing down to breathe and allowing myself to be present in the moment.
What has influenced my approach
There is no specific thing that has influenced my approach. My own life and lived experiences are what shaped my thought process. I believe everyone deserves access to a safe space where they can be heard without judgement and receive the necessary help they need to explore and process their emotions.
One gentle tip for wellbeing
Learn how to spend time and be comfortable with yourself. Remind yourself that life does not come in a “one-size-fits-all” and everyone has a different journey- and that is okay!
